Halftime Notes: AJ Richardson torches CSU secondary for two scores

Not much has gone right for Colorado State football Friday night, as the Rams currently trail Boise State, 35-7. Boise State’s veteran quarterback, Brett Rypien completed 16-of-19 pass attempts for 215 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver AJ Richardson torched the Rams for 112 yards on five catches and two touchdowns as well.

About the only thing that went well for the Rams was the final offensive play in the first half, when Preston Williams snuck behind the Boise State secondary for a 47-yard touchdown. CSU will look to build off that momentum in the second half.

Score: 35-7 (BSU)

Total Yards: 306 (BSU), 192 (CSU)

First Downs: 16 (BSU), 10 (CSU)
