Defensive tackle commits to Colorado State over multiple Power 5 schools
Colorado State football is gaining steam on the recruiting trail. After picking up a verbal commitment from a pair of JUCO offensive linemen earlier this week, 3-star defensive tackle Austin Lee Williams announced his intent to play for the Rams on Thursday.
The 6-foot-4, 288-pound defensive tackle is listed as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, and currently holds offers from 19 different programs, including Indiana, Iowa State, Maryland, Minnesota, South Carolina and UCF.
NCAA rules prohibit coaches from commenting on specific players before they have signed a National Letter of Intent. Williams will be eligible to sign in the early period, beginning on Dec. 19.
