Aidan Cullen commits to CSU football

Colorado State football picked up a third verbal commitment for its 2019 recruiting class Tuesday when Palmer Ridge defensive end, Aidan Cullen announced he would be staying close to home and signing with the Rams. Currently ranked as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports, the 6-foot-5, 245 pound defensive end holds offers from Air Force, New Mexico and Wyoming, among other programs.

In 2017, Cullen earned first-team All-State recognition as a defensive end and also played left tackle for Palmer Ridge High School, who went undefeated and won the 3A State Championship. Matt McChesney (@SixZeroStrength) and the Colorado Springs Gazettete each named Cullen to their respective All-Star/All-Colorado rosters as well.

At Palmer Ridge HS (Monument, Colo.), Cullen has earned letters in football, track & field and wrestling. In 2017, Cullen recorded a 4.68 second shuttle time and a broad jump of 9'2".

Cullen joins fellow defensive commits, Paul Edwards (CB) and Xavier Goldsmith (CB). Edwards is a 3-star defensive back from Harbor City, Calif. and Goldsmith is a 3-star defensive back from Detroit, MI.
