Wyatt Bryan makes history in CSU's victory

A lot happened in Colorado State's comeback victory over Arkansas Saturday night, including senior kicked Wyatt Bryan passing Steve Bartalo to become the program's all-time leader in total points scored.

"I like it, because he has faith in himself," Bobo said. "What a great feat. All-time leading scorer in Colorado State history."

The senior kicker made four total field goals in the victory and all of them were significant. The first was a 55-yard field goal to give CSU its first lead of the season (3-0). The third pushed him past Bartalo to become the all-time leader in points and his final one tied the game at 27-27 in the fourth quarter.

After joining the program as a walk-on in 2014, Bryan has 300 career points to his name. The veteran did miss his first two attempts this season, but Bryan has now made six consecutive attempts including the longest successful field goal since 1992 (55 yards).

In an interview with Mike Brohard, Bryan reflected on the moment. "It hasn't hit me yet, but it will be awesome looking back on my career knowing I'm the all-time leading scorer," Bryan said.
