Anthony Perkins announced as new cornerbacks coach

Colorado State head football coach Mike Bobo announced on Wednesday that Anthony Perkins has been hired to replace Eric Lewis as cornerbacks coach. Lewis recently accepted a position on the Boston College staff after one season in Fort Collins.

Perkins, a former Colorado defensive back (2008-11), began his coaching career as defensive quality control assistant at CU in 2012, before being hired as the secondary coach at Indiana State (2013-14). After two seasons as a cornerbacks coach at Ohio (2015-16), Perkins was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017 and spent the last two years as an assistant to the head coach.

“I am excited to welcome Anthony Perkins and his family to Colorado State,” Bobo said in a release. “Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will make an immediate impact and a great addition to CSU.”
