CSU men's basketball hosting David Roddy

Colorado State football is hosting the University of Arkansas in what is a huge game for the program. Saturday will also be important for another Division 1 men's program at CSU though. According to an inside source, CSU men's basketball is hosting 6-foot-5 power forward David Roddy on an official visit and will be taking him to the Arkansas football game Saturday night.

Roddy is listed as a 3-star recruit by Rivals and currently has 11 Division 1 offers, including Colorado State, Drake, Minnesota, Nebraska and Northwestern.

According to rivals, Roddy is scheduled to visit Northwestern on Oct. 13. It would make a lot of sense to schedule a visit for that weekend because Northwestern football will be hosting Nebraska.

Along with being a talented hoopster, Roddy plays quarterback for Breck High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Roddy has offers to play football from North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, South Dakota and Wyoming
