Nico Carvacho earns first-team All-Mountain West honors

LAS VEGAS - Nico Carvacho was named first-team All-Mountain West by the league’s media. The redshirt-junior center was Colorado State’s lone representative, receiving 112 total votes.

In 31 games this season, Carvacho has been a monster on the glass. The 6-foot-11, 240-pound, Chilean native lead the nation in rebounding at 13.1 per game. Carvacho also ranked seventh in the Mountain West with 17.8 points per game and was third in in field goal percentage, connecting on 60.3 percent of his shots.
