Anthony Masinton-Bonner signing with Missouri State

Anthony Masinton-Bonner wanted a fresh start after a turbulent career with the Colorado State Rams. The veteran point guard will get that opportunity at Missouri State University, where he will re-join former CSU assistant Jase Herl.

Masinton-Bonner announced on Twitter Monday morning that he is committed to the Bears. According to an inside source, Masinton-Bonner also heard from Creighton, DePaul and Kansas State University, but elected to go with Missouri State - where he will be closer to his family and still have an opportunity to play quality minutes.

In 25 games last season, Masinton-Bonner averaged 26.3 minutes per game and shot 41 percent from 3-point range. For his career, “A.M.B.” averaged 7.5 points and one assist per game over the past three seasons.
