Hyron Edwards to transfer from CSU

Colorado State men’s basketball now has three open scholarships for 2019-20. On Monday, Hyron Edwards became the seventh player to transfer out of the program since the beginning of last season and ninth player to do so since Niko Medved was hired in March of 2018.

Edwards began his career at Trinity Valley Community College, averaging 18.5 points per games as a sophomore in 2015-16, before originally signing with Texas Tech. Edwards then transferred to Colorado State after spending one semester at TTU.

In 20 games this season, Edwards shot 34 percent from the field and seemingly was a good fit in Medved’s offense. It will be interesting to see where the 6’0” guard lands.
